
I just caught up on checking deal flow, and here are some Euro deals I found interesting over the last 10 days or so:
- General Atlantic Partners invests in German Navigon - seems like navigation systems, GPS and the like are a really hot space right now
- Meshcom out of Finland raised money from Nordic Capital. Let’s see how mesh will pick up in Europe, it’s certainly got a lot of buzz in the US and folks like Tropos are doing well with it. I’ll take a look in detail at what Meshcom does when I get a chance.
- MindCandy raised $3M from Index - more gaming!
- Online Advertising company Vibrant Media raised $25M from and ABS Capital Partners and Messpierson Investeringsmaatschappij
- Not in my area, but jiving well with the German background in power an automotive industries: P21 got funded by Conduit Ventures, Target Partners, TechFund Capital Europe
- Novaled and Dresden Silicon raised money. raised money. Semiconductor is not my expertise, but I find it remarkable that Gildas Sorin of Novaled but together a $17.7M round with a diverse investor set led by French Credit Agricole Private Equity.
- Anevia raised money from CDC Entreprises Innovation. More for video for telcos.
