Le Web 3 - Politicians entering the scene

December 12th, 2006

The Le web 3 conference is taking an interesting turn: After word got around that French minister Mr Sarkozy will be speaking later today, everyone wants to use this conference for promoting their own political agenda: The UDF’s lead candidate invited himself to the stage and was suddenly joined by two well known French journalists (who looked like they would have liked more airtime for themselves, too)…a (mostly French) discussion followed and we are all wondering who’ll show up next to pitch their agenda…apparently someone told the marketing sidekicks of the French politicians that the bloggers here have an audience of millions…an opportunity too good to pass up for any politician…so I thought I’d contribute at least a handful of pageviews on the topic…
P.S. I guess no one told the politicians that Internet access has not been working properly for almost all the conference, but this small technical detail does have some importance…
P.P.S. How great is it to blog from a cell phone? Long live gprs…
